LSU the Saints and (thankfully) Chelsea

LSU Sucked. The Saints sucked. The only thing that saved my sporting weekend was a 1-0 victory Chelsea managed over Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. Granted it was a boring game, but just the same, I feel like I managed to salvage something from my team sports this weekend.

Now, onto other subjects.

Friday was an interesting evening in the Big Easy for Archibald. I was in my alter ego because the Fiddler decided to ditch me at the last minute (I'm sure he has a good reason, whatever her name may be) so I headed out to the Kingpin solamente Archibald.

Being an ostrich all alone in a bar is nothing new to me, and on this evening, I immediately met a lovely woman named Lisa who also happens to be a multiple-published illustrator. We jumped in to a discussion about the publishing business and I, the only ostrich in the bar, managed to make friends with a bunch of the patrons.

Archibald scored, by the way, but I won't bother the blog with the details. You'll have to catch me after a few cocktails to hear the details.

Hello. My Name is Archibald

As you can plainly see, I am also an ostrich. Now, while the fact that I'm writing must mean that I cannot be an ostrich, you must realize I am also a space alien.

Wierd, yes. I must say that even I find it strange from time to time. But as my friend the Hamsterfish says, sometimes it's best to just be who you are and roll with it. Such is my grotesque nature.
